“Great location for exploring Bloomington or meetings on IU campus. Close to lots of restaurants etc. Good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. My one problem was regulating the temperature in my room, but I'm sure if I'd had time I could have asked the staff for help with that.”

“We booked an overnight stay last week given the snow storm. However, the storm was so bad and when we asked to extend our stay for another night they gave it to us for free. Beautiful rooms and so comfortable and cute !!!!”

“We stayed here two nights for a college visit and absolutely loved! The rooms were perfectly clean, and the staff were some of the nicest people you’ll meet! Only issue we ran into which had absolutely nothing to do with the inn itself, was there was lots of construction going on very early in the morning across the street.”

“What a gem. My friend and I both work in interior design, so we notice everything when we walk into a space. Grant Street Inn stopped us in our tracks in the best way. There is something so rare about a place that feels genuinely nostalgic and cozy without feeling tired. Every detail felt considered and warm. The kind of space that makes you slow down the moment you walk in. We each had our own room, which made for the most perfect girls trip. Quiet, charming, and exactly what we needed. The hospitality was exceptional from start to finish. The breakfast was wonderful, and the bacon alone deserves its own mention. If the team ever has interest in refreshing or evolving any part of the space, we would be honored to be part of that conversation. Two designers who already love what you have built would bring nothing but care and intention to it. We will absolutely be back.”

“We were in town for a concert and this inn was a beautiful retreat. We enjoy historical homes and loved that everything felt cozy and comfortable. The breakfast was great and Ruthie was so kind and helpful in the dining room! It was also nice that so many things were within walking distance. Will definitely stay here again!”

“It is a really cute boutique hotel (not a big chain) with wonderful warm and welcoming staff. Keep in mind that this is an older place with lots of history. The place is well maintained and clean. But it is not 100% perfect like a big chain. We were surprised by how quiet it was. The place was full when we were there. We could hear guests opening and closing their doors, but everyone was very respectful of their neighbors. You get a different treat (cookies) every day and they are delicious. Breakfast is awesome. Some warm options, different kinds of breads, yogurts, fruits. Plenty of parking spaces. Walkable to downtown where you have many food options for lunch or dinner. The only negative was the AC is a bit loud. Not much of an issue for us because we are used to live without it but those who can’t pick your poison(heat or noice ) Enjoy your stay there. For us, it made a great difference in our stay in Bloomington.”
